These have got to be fake.
If SE even dares release a phone that looks like this (an obvious Photoshop hash-up of an old Sony Z7 and other phone pics) they will be torn a new one.
Stop dreaming people, it's a (rather successful) hoax. And you should expect better from Sony Ericsson
If it's real, I'll eat my T68. |

Yeah, I've seen them already...
They do look highly suspicious. Note the general old Sony Z7 aesthetics of the device; hardly fitting in with the whole new SE company look.
And the images just look dodgy and "dirty" overall; especially the "back" shot with the poorly-pasted and dubious-looking camera lens assembly.
Like I said, I could be wrong and these could actually be photos of the real thing, although this is unlikely and if true, would f**k a lot of things up for SE as that design is simply terrible. |

Cool phone, futuristic design, and much more sophisticated than P800. More interresting.
It has a jog dial (look at picture of the back)!
why does it has led's like on p800, when T610 doesn't?
I think its a P800 in a new cover. look at it, all the components are in the same places as on P800
this Prototype is NOT thinner. the case is more sleek made. but on the other hand, the battery is situated outside the casing like R380, T29 etc etc.
One more thing: what's that thing underneath the camera, could it possibly be a flash?
Regards

Ok, my 2 cents worth... this thing looks better than the P800. It will have a jog-dial (it's the only control that fits).. I just hope they improved it's functionality.
THIS P810 may or may not be a hoax...I believe it's real.. the successor of the P80 is due out in Q4 of this year... so these prototype photos are coming out just in time.. I don't think this is a WORKING prototype though. Looks like those dummy shells only.
But AFAIK, the next P800 (P810) will have 320x240 16-bit screen (I hope they use the screens on the Clie) ... thinner profile than the P800... and a higher res cam... I guess those are the 1.3MP CCDs that SE is using in Japan. |

Fannypad........oh nothing, i just wanted to write it.
He said he would eat his t68 if the pics were real, i can't wait to see him do that,
@Fij, the rear main speaker stops the (asked for) loud ring signals damaging the ear if you had it to your head, i think thats a good idea.

@jplacson these photos show a thin quartz screen format, that is 320x208. P810 will be very probably running the symbian 7.0s uiq os and that means the same screen as the rest of uiq devices.
well, i guess we'll have to wait until the official presentation.

Looks good 2 me. What about it's stylus? Is it better than on P800? This one sucks. I have realised that when I held O2 XDA stylus, it is very important...

listen people i only posted these images in their own thread after another user called "handy" posted them, so there not Fak's on my part ok?
and plus do you uys have such short memories? don't you remember when the rumour about the t68i started?
one guy posted some really poor quality images of what he said was the t68i and everyone started flaming him and called him i liar (myself included) but that rumour turned out to be true, didn't it?
and also remember the 3D CAD Render of the t610 that was shown on the web before SE presented, everyone said it was fake to, but it turned out to be real.
and as someone who use's photoshop everyday i would have to say that this images would take alot of time to create, and its also my opinion that you cannot create an image of this high quality in photoshop.
and maybe this is a pre-production prototype design of the "p810" which has still final designing to be completed?
but it is my opinion that the successor to my much loved an wanted p800 will look something like what is showen in the pictures on the first page,
thank you |
