Forgive me for my ignorance of the state of mobile communications in your country. But whenever someone from the states visit my country (Philippines for those on wap) they are amazed by the phones we use here and the services we have. What exactly do you have? Do you have MMS, GPRS etc i was expecting that since your country is the only superpower, your mobile services would have to be cutting edge compared to a poor third world country like us. Thanks in advance.:-)

We do have MMS, SMS, and GPRS services here in the US. But usage of these services is not as extensive as in the Philippines yet. GSM service here is still in early stages. That's why you get the cool new phones first before we do. But we're slowly moving ahead with T-Mobile leading the pack and AT&T and Cingular close behind.
