This ain't gonna happen. Sony didn't remove LED to save money but because they know something we dont when it comes to future releases of Android |

It looks so much like an old Xperia. Can't believe Sony didn't own their design and release modern versions of it. To some it was uncomfortable but I think it was cool. |

Cant deny XZP is stunning.
But I prefer the chocolate bar design , all flat like Z phones.
Zte Nubia Redmagic 9 Pro is complete flat, 8.9mm and no cam bump.
Sony should do same.
No one is gonna complain about 0,5mm more. |

I haven't owned a Sony Phone since my XZ Premium died. Really loved that phone. Currently using a Redmi 9T for the last couple of years. It is dying so I'll probably get a Redmi 13c to replace it. Not spending a lot of money on any phone unless it's a Sony, and sadly the Sonts I want are for used car money. USD 1300 can buy an old Handa Fit for my 17 year old, hard to justify using that on a phone. Maybe when the boys finish college I can get back to my Sony phone owning self LOL |

The 6.9" explains with some ppl think this time the micro matrix is there. With current design, 6.9" would make xperia too big , like Asus Rog. There is an render that is like exactly like xiaomi 14 but without cutout. That would reduce height to similar size of current, but wider (that would benefit pro apps).

Sony should just make 5 phones.
$250-270, $450-500, $700-750, $1100-1200, $1700-1800.
Merge Pro and 1 series.
Make 5 better again.
Improve 10 series (cam hardware and SoC, rest is fine).
Pixel 7a is gaining many clients for Google in Japan.
Sony can do better for $500. Just has to want to.

Selling more wasn't their focus in this era. They tried to carve a niche and got some recognition. If I remember correctly, 1 series was a five year plan. It's time to broaden their reach in every way but I doubt Sony will do that.
I think having 3 flagships would be better.
An iPhone se/galaxy fe type of affordable flagship: even using apple formula of using 5 year old hardware would be better than the current 10 imo. Especially cam setup and build materials.
A regular flagship. Like vanilla iphones and galaxy s base edition. A slightly bigger screen with minimal bezels that's about the same height as the current 5. I don't think a small punch hole in the corner would be that bad. But I get it if no one wants it
A premium flagship that has everything. Best cam. Best build materials, some flashy design options.. They don't have to go 6.9 6.7-8 would be OK. This could get really expensive but should justify its price.
And if they want they can release a rival to pixel a and galaxy a/m series. They need to give more for the money.
All of these should get at least 4 years of updates. |

The next generation Xperia Pro will likely have a 1.33" sensor.  The protrusion of the camera part is going to be very thick. |
