Screen
The display on the Sony Xperia Z3 is its most impressive feature. With the same pixel count as its predecessor of 1080x1920 resolution, the Xperia Z3's 5.2in display blew us away. Images are crystal clear and it is truly stunning to use, with both text and images looking sharp and touch operations being smooth between pages and apps.

Just noticed that the new design of the port flaps will avoid the accidental opening of them when we take out of the pocket or so.

Looks like the American carriers don't accept no less than 32GB internal memory from Sony. First T-Mobile and now Verizon. I'm happy because now I know this phone definitely is my next.

That says the quality is on a par with the Galaxy S5, it should be better, I really want to be tempted by Sony but until they bring out a phone with a top class camera then no chance. |

Hmmm...
For the 1st time I never even bothered to watch the unveiling or properly check the specs of a new Sony flagship, I was more interested in the Z3C this time around, just to see how they improved on the Z1C.
So overall this phone seems to be for those who got the OG Xperia Z, don't think I'd even bother if I was coming from a Z1 let alone the Z2, not sure if I like its design as much as I did the Z2's.
Who's getting this one?

To clarify, the International version will come with either 16GB or 32GB while the US is a 32GB only? Or is it 16GB only for international and 32GB only for USA?
If they finally made a 32GB international then I'm glad Sony have finally listened as it seemed such a waste having 3GB RAM and a Snapdragon 801 only to be given a paltry 16GB of internal storage.

I really liked the designs of the Z1 and Z2, although a bit big and heavy in my opinion although the Z3 is lighter and slimmer which is good, also love the dedicated shutter button plus battery life is very good on the Z2 and seem even better on the Z3.
Where Sony seem to mess up is with poor call volume and poor audio when recording video, front facing cameraneeds to be better and the camera software needs to be much better.
Sort that out and I'd be tempted although I've just managed to get an S5 for £228 so I'm happy with that for now.

I saw the Z3 will support ALAC playback. Seeing as how ALAC is "less" hi-res than FLAC, DSD etc, do you guys think there's any chance the Z2 will get that support? I'm thinking maybe not, but it would be better for as I have a mac, haha.
Currently NExus 4, but want Xperia ZR. |

The Z3 is in my opinion the best looking Sony Xperia Z phone ever made.
