Lol that's pretty much what my signal is like
On 3G @ Aussieland
But if I walk up the road into another near
Town I get full signal it's just absolute crap
At home and it makes my battery run out
Really fast :/
That sounds terrible. My 3G signal is quite good it is just the 4g that it is a bit of disappointment |

Well,as they say all networks are not perfect in all places. All networks have black spots it's just the way it is. Always get a pre pay sim to test signal before you sign up I rarely am ever without a signal on Three even travelling around UK. As for 4G it's always going to be patchy to begin with just like 3G was

I am hoping that the 4g coverage will be expanded fast. Their website says that the area where my work is should have 4g coverage from March....hopefully that's true no mention though about when the 4g will be available where I live |

That's weird....seeing that I am on payg. Maybe 4g is not active in Birmingham yet. If you check the coverage checker on their website does it say that the 4g is active in Birmingam? |

But it is active in Birmingham as Three have chosen some customers at random it's not a lottery

Bonovox/Aussie.
It just went crap really after those mad windy storms a week and a bit ago
I think my area might be a poor spot for signal I had the same problem
On Vodafone but with them at least they had a signal booster lol
4G works near me, next time I visit the area it's available
I will take my phone and check, a friend got a pay monthly sim on
3 recently has it activated

Got some decent speeds yesterday afternoon, in Liverpool CC. The signal diminishes quite quickly as you leave the city centre though, but that should improve with time.

I'm currently paying £36 a month but next time I'm going to go sim only on the One Plan, it's less than half the price and I hardly ever keep the phone I get with the contract.
Where are you Bono, Birmingham CC?

I'm 4 miles from Birmingham City Centre itself. My Three coverage is great in my house and where I live shows 4G coverage but it's not activated on my account yet. That's what Three told me they do. I used to have the One Plan SIM only for the reduced price of £15/month with tethering too but I paid it off and got a contract.
