i see sony maybe implementing bigger camera sensor and xenon flash if they start to use JDI's "pixel eyes" panel because it will make the display panel thinner to my understanding - i predict in a Q4 2014 flagship device. also i read some time ago that some company completed development of a new xenon module that is thinner and maybe will be used in late 2014 mobile devices. that way companies won't have to sacrifices in more thickness for xenon flash, bigger camera sensor, etc... correct me if i'm wrong.

IIRC they're just going to begin mass producing those ultra slim xenon flashes late 2013, so we likely won't see them in any devices until sometime in 2014. |

At best, don't expect to see Z series with xenon before 2015. For 2014 "tick" phase Sony will probably introduce larger and "better" screen IGZO, larger battery and that's about it. For "tock" phase (fall 2014) we may see OIS as well. Of course, that's my pure speculation.

I'd like to see the recent return to quality accessories continue into 2014. Specifically I want good active car holder(s) and considered Bluetooth 3.5mm for aux connection to the car stereo with cig charging.

I do wonder if they'll continue with the magnetic charging connector in 2014, or go for more convetional wireless charging options.
Also curious if they'll continue the glass phone approach, for flagships, or go the metallic route.

I'm still waiting someone to make car cradle with magnetic charging port. Hoping Sony or any third party will make that.
