developers are still on iOS 5 beta 7, we haven't even seen the gold master which normally we do at least 2 weeks before it goes live.

At the minute im thinking what Bonovox said earlier. Anti-climax.
What happened to NFC ? the whole WiMax malarky ? if the 4S is the only new phone coming this year im very disappointed. Ive lost my live feed.

General consensus seems to be disappointment. But then what did people expect.
I must admit, I don't know why they couldn't announce this in June.
I think the biggest let down with the 4S is the screen size. We don't all want super sized 4.7" brick phones, but come on, 3.5 inch is too small in this day and age. |

Battery life hasn't really changed apart from the odd hour here and there. 14 hours of 2G talk time and 10 and 40 hours for video and audio respectively is what the 4 has. |

I knew they would only announce one phone, but REALLY hoped it was a 5 with a larger display, NFC and LTE, I'm seriously disappointed to, and there really aren't any big suprises in iOS5. I lost my live stream at the beginning, and just decided to update Engadgets live blog every 10mins, was so excited in the beginning, and by the end I was bored, thank goodness Come Fly With Me is on.
