In the last few days I have almost ruined my Desire HD
Firstly, I managed to rip of the Volume control when I was changing battery. Instead of the battery hatch slit, I got my nail under the volume control plastic and hence ripped it off

Yesterday, failed to fix the DHD on the table stand charger. Saw about to slide, down on the floor 40-60cm below.
Got the phone before falling down just in the next second drop the Desire from my hands.

The DHD really bounced and it's metal case got a real dent. Luckily the screen wasn't cracked.

Still looking for a volume control widget on the Market, those I tested so far Is either way off, or have advertisement.
Advertisements are banned from my home screen.

few days ago a friend of mine had his N79 accidentaly flying from hands right to stairs. Phone slid 10 stairs du-du-du-du-du, than made a turn and went right to the gap between stairs and finished on floor below . Except few straches and one little crack phone survived and still working flawlessly
