i know this is not compatible and maybe thats why we cant install the driver itselft, MAYBE we must "compile" a SIS file with driver inside, and i needed the omnia driver to compare with satio´s one

But,based on words of modders of Omnia hd,the ROM flash process is based on ARM architeture.(like apollo software uses to connect on i8510)
So,i think the developers just need flash files(or whatever what) to implement on existing program.

did anyone ever manage to hack the satio camera for modding? the pictures are too compressed for my liking.
dont care too much about HD video, but as a camera its not as good as my old c905 |

I suggest eltoffer that you go ahead with your idea. Let us give a shot at it.
I was impressed with your earlier mod and flet it has improved my camera performance. Many over here did not think so. So why not give a try. Nothing wrong in getting something there. I would appreciate your every effort. |

I did not object to the idea, all I said was that I will not be writing a camera application. Somebody can write one if they are intrested. |

that was my idea and i HAVE to develop it, and this would be the only way to improve the satio´s camera, BUT it would be a hard job (writing a cam app)

Well, I would help if I knew anything about that kind of stuff. I'm thinking about buying a second hand silver Satio but I know I'll get bored by it's camera limitations...

I'm really tired of this SE bullshits.
From K750i every camera product on their phones is worst then last one. Satio with 12 Mpix is the best camera on market ( only in daylight )
but every f..n thing is worst. Pics are full of noise, sharpness is pitty, PANORAMA mode is not good, I can't put anything in it, sensor of movemnent and squers are shity
it's completely useless.
And I buy it, only and only cause of camera.
I had some old firmware and I did't try anything yet cause I might be broke something inside.
My firmware is R1B017 . Anybody knows is there's difference between this camdriver and in R2Ak006? |
