We have a clear winner (though only where 2mp is concerned for now) . I always clean the lens everytime I pull my phone out for a snap and i can't stress that enough in order to maximize the camera's ability, that's extra work you need to put in for the lack of lens cover.

Only my first photo was 2 mega pixels, if that's what you mean. The rest were all shot at 8 mega pixels.

Absolutely love the colours But I do think its biggest problem is overexposure. As always, indoor pics look great. Care to share the full sized photos in the photos section?

Something which could be fixed with EV control.
The best mobile phone brand died with Sony Ericsson's death. Shame on you Sony for killing it! And, of course, for ruining the Xperia brand... Mediar's Site |

Im glad that you don't post the best pics that have been taken by the aino, but a collection of the good and the bad, which is way more usefull than people posting some of the best pics they have taken with the aino. As it doesnt really give an idea on how good the aino is as a point and shoot camera. |

If you look at the photos I posted the day after I got my Aino, you'll see exposure problems highlighted - even from light that's 'off camera' which might mean there's light getting in to the sensor that shouldn't be (perhaps it's not recessed enough).
I can get some excellent photos from the phone though, but it's a bit hit and miss. The lack of options is also a disappointment, considering it's supposedly sitting ABOVE Cyber-shot (and Walkman).

Can anyone confirm if the noise level is the same or less than W995?
