I've heard a lot of mixed reports about Ecell. Some good, some bad, some even suggesting the phones they sell are fakes. I was going to buy a G900 from them a few months back until i asked about them on here. I know the phones they sell aren't uk spec and are APAC models but a quick firmware reflash via Davinci will sort it out. Have had a few APAC models before and had changed the firmware to uk spec.

APAC models are ones used in the far east and have a different langauge pack installed. English is usually one of them. Sometimes some labelling in the menu's are in Japanese even though English is selected.
If you look at www.davinciteam.com you can use them to change the software on your phone (for a charge) to whichever country you want to have installed. It does work similar to SEUS except you cant change the software to a different country. Only update the current one on your phone.

Hope that helps

Prepaymania also stock APAC models but seem a good price. Reflashing your phone with Davinci is quite easy. Just like debranding.

APAC stands for Asia/Pacific.

I wouldn't worry too much about other languages appearing in the menu. T700 is not officially available in any English speaking countries except for UK so it's likely that many T700's (sourced from overseas suppliers) will have some sort of language compromise. Factor that into the price you choose to pay though.

Well i sent E-cell an email yesterday and this is what they said:

Hi there, we source our phones from many sources globally (including the UK). All are guaranteed to be in english; with english instructions, and UK 3 pin plug, this phone has been made unlocked to make it suitable for all GSM networks in the world. Thanks
