So why is it that some people says that p800 has factory defect or bugs in it? is it true?

@SE-T68, look the fact is that there isn't that much the P800 can do which the 7650 cannot do, but the important difference is the way they take use of all their features. And that's where the P800 has the upper hand with the big screen(touch sensitive), expandable memory, stereo sound output and faster prosessor. So one could say that 7650 wins on the software side(considering the amount of extra SW available), while P800 wins hardware-wise. That is if one feels the need to compare the two. And I think it is in fact more accurate to compare 7650 to P800 rather than T68, since they are both smartphones with a built-in cam.

Well, duh of course.. But in sake of arguement it's an important factor to consider when comparing the two.

After all we are comparing them at this present time, not their future possibilities, which the 7650 has very little of...

@raven:

i think the important comparison issue is not the buit-in camera, raven!

i think it's between comparing a PDA or non PDA phone... that's the innovative soul of your phone right? that's what puts p800 and t68/7650 worlds apart. the camera in or out of the phone is a minor issue... the important issue there would be: can they take photos?
since, as we know so well, the three of them can... what else is different? and that question immediatly separates our 3 phones in 2 groups: P800 / 7650 + T68, right?

@cyanx7, Wrong. T68i and 7650 aren't in the same league either, being that one of them is a smartphone. And I never said that the important comparison issue is the built-in cams, cyanx7!

I compare the 7650 with a hot steaming freshly laid dog turd, because it hangs around annoying people, then just when you`ve had enough it`s dissapeared overnight.
Reminder; milk, sugar, crisps, post letter.

Raven, if you're so hellbent on comparing the P800 with some phone around, compare it with this one...

...or a Fujitsu Siemens Pocket Loox with GPRS jacket OR the upcoming iPaqs with a built in phone (if I remember correctly), but forget the 7650. Put it alongside with those GXsomething thingies.

@jcpsad
:cough:
f**ked up battery life. They weigh a TON. Crappy operating system. Overpriced...
Name it!

We deal with Fujitsu Siemens computers all the time and the Loox is - IMHO - just a really bad, chunky thing, especially with the GPRS jacket.
The Audiovox is just a Toshiba with an antenna which drains the battery like crazy. Why do you think they never mention the stand-by times?
