Well people the phone actually arrived this morning was supposed to be yesterday but also was stressed that it could be today. Just arrived 10 mins ago its all nice & shiny & new very nice phone & slider is nice & solid. Going to go & unlock it now also the only branding as I can see is start up & shut down screens & Virgin have their own theme which you can delete. All in all im very happy its so cool & stylish. The Royal Mail special delivery came whilst I was just getting in the shower I heard the doorbell go I panicked thinking I was going to miss it had to run to door with towel around me

Lol actually the postman was a postwoman driving the Royal Mail van. Its a lovely phone cant post pics cos for some reason when i post pics from my pc to forums they dont show up. Cant work out why can only post in photos section. Anyway phone is unlocked now few things i never spotted. Virgin have put their own internet logo Virgin Media where the Sony Ericsson internet logo normally is plus there is a black and white Virgin logo on battery door. Firstly where can i buy a battery door plain one. Oh and secondly there is no secondly lol. Going to debrand it now Virgin have disabled the flash themes Apart from that its great. Call quality is very very loud and clear compared to c510 something my letter was about.

You can get the battery covers on ebay, although not as cheap as I thought they were. How are you gonna debrand it?

Cant you debrand using A2Uploader? Thats how i debranded my Vodacrap K850. Think i uploaded some custom file then SEUS recognized as a generic K850 and loaded the unbranded firmware. I dont know if you can do the same with newer SEs though

Well I debranded my C905 the same way a few months ago, so I should imagine so.

Hello again well I have no idea about how to do all that A2 uploader stuff it confuses me. I debranded my old c510 using Davinci last time which was easy enough. Thanks though I will get a cover from there or somewhere. Does anyone know which firmware on Davinci i click on for the right unbranded one? Reason i ask is i cant see which one it is. I did it fine before but this phone it comes up with unbranded Carphone one but it says the version with the patterns on. Does it matter if its that one?

Only 2 things i am not keen on. The light sensor i just hate them think they are pointless anyway cos the impact on battery life is minimal. Users should be given the option to turn it off cos under artifical light the display is so dim its horrible. Outside its great. Also the phone is a bit slow but could be down to branding or firmware. Other than that its great phone cant complain it was free
