Well, i managed to have 6 apps running and the media player. When i tried to open the seventh, way finder, it froze. Then it said that it uses too much memory.

7 apps? What are you running on that thing? 
The most I'd run so far is, tracker + music player + status info. 3 whole apps. My guess wayfinder eats ram like candy, it's the same on my HTC, as soon as I start tomtom the ram goes south.

anyone got the FS file they could upload. need a western europe or something with english in it. all the links already on the forum say that they have broken links/files when i try and extract them using 7zip or IZarc |

@scarfacej89 which firmware's FS?
tranced uploaded a FS to 4shared, see link earlier in the thread. As for my upload packed with 7zip, it's a MAIN not FS, after extracting it with 7zip you'll end up with a .mbn file.

yeah i read through the thread and downloaded that file from 4shared. however when i extracted it using 7zip it didnt work. said the file was broken. i also tried with IZarc and the same thing happened. i ended up downloading an Adriatic FS which did work. what consequences are there of permanently using this Adriatic FS? the only thing that isnt working properly since flashing is the media player. it has failed to recognise any of the music or videos on my phone through the media player but has recognised most of the pictures? any ideas on what has happened here.
am using the 1206-8573 united kingdom custpack and your main firmware

Hm, I've downloaded my own upload and it unpacked just fine with 7zip. Don't know why it doesnt work for you. The archive is fine, and its a MAIN not FS.

Well, just to make sure: is it ok to flash R3E main posted above + FS R3D generic + custpack R3D generic 1201-0116 ?
Will I get some customization with this files?
What about safe rollback if something goes odd? Do I have to flash R3A main or is copying back current FS enough to revert fully to current state?

yes, those files work fine. i even used the r3ea031 as i the r3ea036 had some orange brandings.

Ok, also r3ea31 at rapidshare is fully generic? Yet I have question, is it possible to flash ONLY with this main, and copy the rest of FS from my current FS backup ?(manually via FS tool)
Does new firmware need some initialization with virgin FS, or can I provide configured file system ?
The goal is to save as much configuration as possible |

Yeah it's generic, I don't know where you're from but I've extracted the original custom folder from the UK R3DA029 firmware, maybe its usefull to you or others in here.

Maybe its a good idea to post in English since we do not all speak Czech.
I've tried your CDA you posted earlier and ended up with a working phone that was branded a bit too much for me. It was also crippled quite heavily.
Startup animation option was gone from the settings.
Custom applied themes did not change anything.
And some other stuff, the only thing I liked was the stand-by application. Please let us know when you have a generic R3EA036. Until then I will stick with R3EA031 MAIN and an older FS.
