I have installed the update through seus (Netherlands) and to me it looks like the battery life has increased. I dont have to charge it now daily as it only has one point left. Now 2 days without charging and still full.
what bugged me the most was that I lost all my messages. This never happened on earlier SE phones. And seus telling me that I have to backup the data while there is no good backup program available.
Or can someone tell me a good backup program for messages and installed programs. Agenda and phonenumbers are synced with outlook, so no backup is necessary for that. |

Hope there are some REAL improvements instead of the imaginary ones of R2A. |

Yes, I know, but my fingers are crosed for something more substantial than R2A we have been downloading. Like R3A...I know it's wishful thinking

Yes you can backup them up and restoring them later on.
Otherwise no, it'll wipe out everything. |

^^^ You have to purchase a backup program such as spb Backup. There are probably freeware ones too, but I don't know of them or their quality. |

So SE didn't give anything away in the box? That's pretty tight. WM rom upgrades always delete all data, and there were always going to be a few updates for this phone, so a backup utility is a must.
