no problem with 16+ year-olds buying their things with their own sweat and blood. some people just dont get my point. |

I think crowing meant that even if you are a 16 yr old with 30 phones you paid for yourself lying around in the room, there's no need to show that off by announcing it in the forums.
I myself was a bit miffed with the attitude of "oh my god, I already have 30 phones around me but I'm not satisfied with any of them because none of them can play np3s properly! What am I going to do? I simply have to get the P800! It plays MP3s! Never mind the rest of the features."
It's kind of like a spoiled brat prince in the royal family who throws a tantrum and throws away his $5,000 train set because one of the figures lost his head. You get my drift. |

The 16 year old should recycle some of his phones already if he wants to continue living in a clean environment.
Oh, does the P800 experience hang ups when the memory is full? Because my friend's 7650 hangs up when the memory is full.
You can try lowering the bit rate of the mp3 so that more songs can be downloaded to the phone.(If you're not quality conscious) |

My only complaint for the P800 in relation to MP3s is the limited storage capacity of the phone and the memory stick. Also (maybe I'm doing it wrong) I can't seem to copy an mp3 file (or any file for that matter) directly to the memory stick when the phone is in it's cradle. I have to save it first on the phone and then transfer it to the memory stick.

To all the babies who b*tch and moan about the P800's multimedia capabilities... "The P800 is the worst phone cuz it doesn't have a DSP eq!", "The P800 is a horrible phone cuz it only comes with 28MB of memory...where am I supposed to put my videos???"
It's a PHONE people!!!
You guys should've bought this instead:

Good phone more than likely. Memory size should have been updated since the long delay considering Motorola A830 has 256MB. Expandable memory should have been a worldwide standard secure digital card.

"Worldwide standard"? You mean like the worldwide standard compactflash, or the worldwide standard memory stick, or the worldwide standard microflash?
Face it; we still don't have a "worldwide standard". |
