T700 seems like a nice candybar, it have a great aluminum finish and a good 3.2 camera. its a good choice to c902 if you looking for some cheaper phone with steel(alu) casing.
a sample from gsmarena by T700, really good picture actually.

Good choice, but I think your C902 already has a good build quality on par with T700, and a not bad camera unit.

yes, you misunderstood little. Im aware c902 have very good buildquality. I just mention T700 is a good choice if you want a cheaper metal-cased phone. (though, i get the feeling that T700 have lighter buildquality then c902 because of its alu casing, steel is little more solid)

Alu and Steel are as strong as each other at that thickness, but Alu is more flexible. (Sorry, I sell Alu And Stainless Steel, just had to say that )

My T Mobile contract is now up & there's no decent Sony Ericsson handsets to upgrade from my K750I to so im sticking with it. Gone on to the Solo 20 sim only deal now so im only tied in to 30 days at a time.
If you don't like the small screen of the C902, don't forget the W902!
Also, I wouldn't worry now you've made the sensible move to go on a SIM-only contract. Now you're probably saving a fortune, and you have a phone you're happy with. Sit tight and wait for the right phone. At least you didn't upgrade to just anything, or carry on paying loads of money on a contract that had paid off the subsidy.

@gforce haha ok ok sorry bout the contradiction. But my idea of "feature phones" are/were say... the v800i and s700i( feature/multimedia phones of their time)...point is i'm used to above average sized phones.
I do have to concede about the 8800 not being a true slider, but i'm sure some designer IF they wanted to could get a similar level of quality.
and i don't think the c902 is too bad. i'd b very happy to own one albeit it isn't perfect( for my needs)

like i said, when do you think SE new Candybar-shooter is coming.....
any ideas how will it probably will look...(any leeked photos or thoughts) ???
features ???
I reckon it'll be this time next yearish and it will be called the k900 (oh so imaginative). It will have wifi/gps/8mp, basically a c905 in a candybar.
Unlike the c905, it will have a flipping frontfacing camera for videocalls (grumble grumble).
OR
MAYBE, finally Sony's Handycam division will hand over the keys and we'll see an HD digital camcorder phone!!??? |

if i was head designer on , i should (whitout any doubts) build a new c902, maybe 2mm thicker (if its needed) and then just put in xenon flash....done and done
i dont care if it still 2.0" screen, but a 2.2" screen is ok to of course. i will not sacriface the touchkeyes but if its nessecary for 0.2" bigger screen, its ok....
Filippa?
2.2" screen and xenon flash.
