it would be good to take pics @ 2mp so we wont have any problems with esato's upload images process.

@shuuro, your winning "colours" shot last march has some relativity with this months theme. i'm eagerly waiting or your entry esp. since your imobile produces excellent colors: a factor which makes sunset shots more impressive btw. your winning piece last march was really stunning!

Hey I'm just wondering whether I would be disqualified because using the HDR application for mobiles seems to always datestamp everything 30 November 2008??
I may just have to steady my hand and take photos with the phone camera software for processing lol |

@razec Thanks . Unfortunately, this month i'm confined at a place where i cannot see sunsets or sunrises, my view is blocked by residential complexes & trees. I got a sky pic with just sunset colors but i think i can get better picture if i wait or perhaps during the weekend i'll take some time and go some place . May be i will post it in the third week.
This month is going to be very interesting with hdr and others pics, looking forward to it.

@razec oops...no, i'm fine . just that my current work place is surrounded by residential apartments and the house which i recently moved, is surrounded by trees . so not much opportunity to spot and take sunset or sunrise pictures.
You guys really have beautiful beach, also frank intending to take hdr picture and with all others pics, this month's competition is going to be something very interesting.

Taken with my K810i the other night, saw the last colours of the setting sun and thought of this comp. I like the contrast of the town shadows against the gorgeous colourful horizon.

Christchurch Sunset: 5 Exposures combined with Photomatix Pro for HDR effect
Taken with K800i from the roof of Bank of New Zealand where I am currently working on the building Air Conditioning Plant. I wanted you guys to see in full dynamic range how dramatic the sunset is when it is just clipping the underneath of the clouds when they are in the Northwest Arch formation. Breathtaking!!

Quickpost this image to Myspace, Digg, Facebook, and others!
(Awaiting a reply to PM DonJuan regarding original exposures...?)

well voting doesnt start for a couple of weeks so dont be too hasty.
But i have to say that is really one of the most impressive vell phone pics i have seen.
If anyone has ever tried HDR on the cell phone, its really hard! to keeo the phone still while you go through your menus to change the exposure without moving it is soooo hard. I have tried a few on my K850 but always end up moving the phone. So good job!
Im going to give it a try tonight for tonights sunset and see what i can do!
