Both phones are neither good looking or ugly. They are plain designs, very non fashionable.
Its good to hear PK speak of the new P because neither of these phones seems destined to very wide appeal outside of Europe.
Once again why can't just add 850mhz to their phones like nokia does? Isn't gaining market share part of their strategy?
I'll just wait to see if the new P is announced or I am going to have to get the N96.

they're announced for Q2 08, but that can mean June 30 !
I don't find either ugly, just quite classic. Happy to see the return of a D-pad on a UIQ phone. The jog dial was fine, but did not make sense in some situations.
And 13mm thick ! That's WOW !
21st actually
edit: nevermind I was thinking seasons

I don't think their screen size can match with P990i(by the way not terrible at all).Still waiting for P5i with UIQ4
I agree with SE to develop UIQ series... we will have more developers doing fine utilities for UIQ. |

I wonder about the hardware side of the phone seems like the phone has finally got an upgrade of Ti-omap 34xx processor and a 128Mb ram.
5mp camera in a 12mm thin? seems like the phone will be using CCD sensor i reckon

No, they can`t. They`ll have 2,4 and P990i has 2,8 screen. |

touch screen input will always be faster than normal phone keypad with t9
gps apps like tomtom are way nice on a touch screen
then there is stuff like this wonderfull app UIQ3 users can use, and that is so usefull:

n3o,
they included an extra stylus so that if you lose the main stylus, you can use the extra stylus. It's just like the P1i's package. 2 stylus are included. |

G900 seems to be the user-friendliest compact smartphone when it comes to number of input methods: Stylus(for Hardcore P-series loyalist), Keypad(for all hardscreen lovers) i would like to know max's opinion regarding this thing
