n73 is louder with steriphonic sound but at high volume it works like tweeter which means high pitch. |

am after the n73 myself nice looking phone
i was keen on nokia's ui but i can't haven't tryed a symbian phone
back on topic
i think their's not going to be a mainstream phone thats louder than the w900i
but if there is it will be mine
is there anywhere that you could get spefic tech spec about phones
like speaker wattage and size |

the 6234 shits on the w900i with eq up
and also the p900 is just as loud with power mp3 with the eq up however
sound quailty is bad |

the good old mobiles u just cant beat.. gh388 for example. now a days sadly arent any normal ringtones anymore, just few ( like in se fones old fone or in some nokias doctors fone or tinker )

I used to have an N73 and god it was loud i would hear it everywhere but at the same time it was tinny. Loudest phone i ever heard. I have also read that W610 is loud though i dont know for sure myself. I got rid of N73 as it drove me insane it was so slow though quality with everything else. Nokia 6233 also VERY loud.

If we are talking about loud phone @ ringtone then i have to say N-Gage QD is the loudest. My neighbour complaining a lot to me everytime i get text message couple years back ( 2002  )

W550 and W900 were the loudest i've tested, 6233 sound is also loud but the music gets soft and unbearable when the crowd gets too noisy (esp. here in my university where the girls often went too ---  with their boyfriends  )

I don't know if it would be the loudest, but I have one of these:
Its a Uniden WDECT 2300.
I can hear it easily from the other side of the house! It even has inbuilt ringtones which are made louder and higher pitched so they are easier to hear!

w900 is the loudest from the bunch of phones ive used and played. plus, loudspeaker of w900 outputs nice bass

I think u guys have not heard the chinese phones with very big screens but crap resolution and 2 macho speakers. They are the loudest and can replace any portable radio.

Yeah i've tried them before(never bought them) and they have ridiculously loud sound output, and the harmonic distortion is great the crackling sound vibrates the phone so you wont need to activate vibrator when someone calls at you
