looks great! build quality looks decent too.
Would the video cam be in one of those holes at the top? just a thought. |

so this phone is better than W910? apart from big screen, what more does W910 offer?
I think W910 has more good built-quality
and W910 of course is sexier than W760 of course
But I admit the feature of W760 much better with the built-in GPS and the good applications including Tracker which is an enhanced version of the fitness application that exist in W580 by using the Built-in GPS
@soane28
no 3g Supported so no front camera

The W760 is a UMTS/HSDPA 850/1900/2100 and GSM/GPRS/EDGE 850/900/1800/1900 phone that will be available in selected markets from Q2 2008.
...
we dont see the videocamera because we're seeing the GSM/GPRS/EDGE 850/900/1800/1900 one, not the UMTS/HSDPA 850/1900/2100.

those features dont determine the price and position of a phone. SE didnt intentionally make W760 a little inferior in built quality

Is the codename Deena?
Because if it is, this is the replacement for W550/W600 |

Something weird in the camera features of SE now.
K770 : 3.2 MP, AF, without BestPic.
W760 : 3.2 MP, Npn-AF, with BestPic.
Maybe SE is reevaluating the features of the phone since K770 was released when Miles Flint was still the CEO of SE. now that Mr dick Komiyama is the CEO we now have BestPic in Walkmans
but TBH i'm not still impressed with it's features, just looks This should have UIQ 3.1!
So what's the point of releasing K-series? why doesn't make a perfect phone? what about a Walkman with AF, BestPic and Xenon flash? |

That's more like it succession-wise. A worthy successor to the W850 is yet to be announced. This one has its strengths such as GPS, more megapixels a slightly larger screen and the look loosely inspired by the Japanese design but with the apparent lack of video call capability, no AF, not even a LED flash and a relatively small memory card included, it is still a bit of a lacklustre solution.

I personally don't like slider, but well done, Sony Ericsson - another multiband phone!
W760 is a UMTS/HSDPA 850/1900/2100 and GSM/GPRS/EDGE 850/900/1800/1900 phone.
The next step is probably to add also the new 3G frequeny - UMTS/HSDPA 900.
