Yeah..@above..Well..I won't be sure that after just 50 years we will be able to get the required knowledge for being immortal..and that skull of fire of Nostradamus is strange..if he knew that people were going to find then he knew we'd be able to do nothing or he may have known that we'd find the book he joked about?Or maybe it's not his at all?Why will Nostradamus write it?Maybe a note to global warming as I've already known that there are some other indications about fire and blah blah blah on that year..An old game (there is a sound circle of rock in which there is a hole..it's kinda like basketball but the basket{the rock with the hole}stands with the upper position to the left and lower to the right)The target of the players were to throw some kind of ball through the "basket"..but strangely, the only one who was able to throw the ball through the basket was killed..now it may be understood that it was taken that the "ball"was the earth and the basket was the center of the galaxy..which means, that in the year 2012,the earth may move there..sends chills down my spine..in the heart of our galaxy the milky way, there is a supermassive black hole..hope this won't happen but if it does, then earth with all it's contents would be compressed and then let out as dark dense plasma. But maybe all these folks were trying to scare or confuse us?..the question continues.. |

Ok..lets rewind back some thousand million years..and goto earth's second nearest planet.. Life on mars is a kind of..mystery..because of it's heavy iron contents, even if it does hold water, the water would be too salty and contain battery acids and are liable not to help terrestrial life(life that can survive with the same living requirements we require)to survive. But maybe it'll we able to host extra-terrestrial life..Here,jupiter is big and the mystery is about the same as the mass..heavy storms and ...but it's moon Europa,on the other hand is cris-crossed with brown lakes which may contain water..which may again give curiousity a chance to welcome it's existence..then there's saturn..same story as jupiter..but Enceladus,a satellite of it's is currently being claimed as a hoster of water which arise from the lakes which might form from the cause of friction.Besides that there are other moons of saturn which may contain water. Moon does not mean just our nearest satellite..it means all the satellites which revolve around any planet.By the way..the name of our moon is Luna |

What is the truth and how can you be so sure that IT IS the truth?

You hit right upon it!The thing I wanted to say...You're not afraid of anything.Wow,quick thinking!@goldenface.Anyways..where was I...yeah..now who thinks that life exists on mars?or believes it..the truth lies there itself..oh yeah..and why?

Im tired of all the missions they do on Mars. Im fascinated by Europa. They really need to send some missions over there. I heard Saturns moon Titan has the charachtaristics of an early earth?
I doubt they will ever tell us about ET, the religious goons go crazy, and other people will start to panic. |

Yeah, I've never understood the fascination with mars either. We know enough about the place to know that there's practically no chance of anything living on the surface except possibly very simple single-cell organisms or viruses (although they still haven't found any of those yet) so wouldn't the money be better spent going a bit further afield? Or is it just TOO much money to send probes to the satellites of Jupiter and Saturn on a more regular basis?
Or technical difficulties maybe? Or perhaps they're still hoping that there's little green men living in underground caves on mars?

^^,yeah..kinda strange..think they're taking mars as they'd taken our moon,luna.Hehe..though it maybe said that there were living stuff before at mars as the temperature falls much near to the temperature of earth.which..may give existense to the presence of liquid water.Yeah..and about that, moons like mainly Enceladus of saturn and titan and Europa may have presence of life..I still agree that maybe deep within Enceladus, there's liquid water and that also about more than 6degrees.which means it will give support to life..same story for Europa..well...for titan, when the cassini probe landed,it landed upon a neither solid, neither liquid stuff and waterfalls of liquid methane. It's atmosphere is thick..some say it was the early form of the earth,so you know..the temperature is cold but the atmosphere is thick..more thick than ours..it is the only body known to have such an atmosphere..more deeper than earth's.. Maybe some of them contains life, either extra terrestrial or terrestrial.. |

Yeah...well..it's not toooo much money, actually a bit too much on mars but it's not about money..they're getting most of the tax and blahblah... As you can see in www.nasa.gov they are already planning to send more probes and stuff....to the jup and sat moons..but going all the way will take time.. And I heard that they're testing and making an instrument which will dig all the way through the ice of Enceladus or Europa, and will take a sample of water..there was a stupid tv conference which I was FORCED to see as A guest in my friend's house..grrr it was about this water..the audience was such a fool that someone from them phoned them and said, why don't we send AIRPLANES and get Drinkable water here..just to drink!hehe never imagined that audiences could be such fools.. en.Wikipedia.org/Wiki/Enceladus replace Enceladus with Europa to learn a bit more about these. |

Saturn is going to curse you for telling a lie and I'll lose this thread AGAIN as people are so ignorant.

5 or 15 billion years again?
Hell thats long!
But relax, at that time we'll have death star orbiting around earth, and we'll just blast the sun if its start going nasty |

@keiki,we're causing danger to ourselves and you think we'll live after blasting the sun?Sorry, but #1 when the sun is blowing up,our earth could experience the heat and wipe out our species.Currently the surface of the sun is experiencing the energy created by 32,000 blasting atom bombs. Now you may know that when the sun gets bigger, the bombs will get bigger too.
Anyways, about asteroids destroying the earth's species',scientists are now trying to make small lasers, which if set working on an asteroid, will beam the laser on the surface and the laser will get reflected but just that tiny amount of force on the rocky body will make the asteroid to move a few inches in the opposite direction. If this laser worked long enough, our earth could be saved..(but that requires us to work together to protect our hoster) and thus not hitting the earth if it WAS heading towards it and thus saving the earth from being destroyed but lets hope the laser will be made and directed on the correct place at the correct time.
Coming to dinosaurs,99.9% of all the species that lived in the earth are extinct Because of a comet that hit the earth. The mighty dinosaurs couldn't even survive! But the mice and rats and cockroaches and some other creatures who were spending their life underground survived under their shelter. Some say that a part of the same rock-body broke away and hit the moon causing a major spot on the moon. But I won't post all the things I know here.

@tapojyoti:
Sorry, but I have to remark that your posts are very hard to read. Try using more spaces after punctuation marks and try to fragment your text a bit better, OK?
Thank you. |
