Look up the definition for nincompoop in the dictionary and you will see a picture of a person comparing digicams and camphones.

LOL! : - D @ QVGA and Abu
@ Plankgatan
When comparing my old W900 screen (2.2inch same as K850) to N73 (2.4inch same as N82) i saw quite a difference the Nokia screen is realy wider both ways and looks better but W900 screen was smoother. Now the N82 has 16million colours so i think it should be on par with K850 especialy in brightness.

"Many years"? Wasn't K800, the first xenon-flash-equipped SE phone, released just last year? Even if you included SE's very first xenon flash accessory, years of experience apparently doesn't help SE much in its favor. Just look at K850i and its users complaining of the xenon flash not synching with the lens taking the picture. |

N82's screen is of unparalleled quality and it sets new heights in sun light ligibility(i know because its similar or better to 5700) and no way the K850 can compare to it. The only screen i see coming close is the Samsung U and G series and Moto Z10

Hi all,
Sorry but some here are seriously misinformed the N series with 16 million colours and a light sensor gives great views even in bright light.
As for the Web browser please be serious the N Series has a full browser and Mini map which is both fast a renders Web pages as they should plus with Mini Map it is both fast and easy to navigate between pages already viewed. The only Mobile device that is as good and probably better is the Safari browser found in the iPhone otherwise the Nokia Safari based browser is acknowledged as being the best by a long way. Opera or Opera Mini and the Net front browser don't even come close.
The Gallery in the past was a little slow but now with the extra Ram and Demand Paging is both fast and renders your images beautifully.
It's interesting how some keep on going on about Macro mode as just how often in daily life is that really how you need to take pictures remembering of course all Camera phones are designed to capture the moment type pictures. As everyone knows if you need or want to have to alter settings to set up your shots you may as well and would be better of with a dedicated camera, which no Camera phone can even come close to.
Here is a picture of the Galley view in a N series and also showing a couple of themes and how they look on a 2.8" 16 million colour screen and a view of the Music Player with Albulm Art in Landscape mode. It would be nice to see some from the K850 to compare how they look as although these are from my N95 8GB the N82 has the same set up just on a slightly smaller screen.
Marc
