No, in my area they used to say Norig actually. Before that it was probably the original Norveg (or more correct in nominative: NorvegR).
I live in inner Vestfold county. To bad that no one says Norig here anymore.
I have visited Australia and New Zealand. Must say I liked NZ most. Not so damned hot there.
