Did they fix any bugs?? Like the long text/email bug? Same version of Opera?
I never had problems with long text or email from the previous fw.

Can anyone clarify these CDA country codes please? I'm really pissed off as I told my supplier (Clove) that I would only buy the phone if it was a World Generic phone as I had so much trouble with my Vodafone branded P990 previously. Of course in the excitement of getting my P1 I never actually checked the CDA version until now as the new firmware is out. Now I see that mine is CDA 162024/55 R6A and since it is not /1 or /2, I assume mine is not a world generic phone. Does anyone know what /55 is?? I suppose more importantly, does anyone know if my version will be updated to the latest firmware? I am travelling at the moment and can't find out until I get home on Sunday. |

@DragonEye,
Yes, there's still the option to turn the Shutter sound off.

Thanks, antz88c, it's frustrating to see mine is an Irish version. I have no issues with the phone except for the so called long email application shut-down problem but mine happened with a short email. I think the problem is one of formatting and this can occur regardless of the length of the email. Anyway, I'll have to decide whether or not to make an issue of this with Clove when I get back.
As for your shutter sound comments, one criticism I do have is that I can hardly hear the shutter going off on the camera, especially outdoors so I can't see why anyone will actually want to shut it off (except in special circumstances, eg a library)! |

Hmmm, according to that site mine is a combination of United Kingdom and Italy version... CDA is: 162024/54 R2A.
@antz88c: What languages are on the World 1 firmware? Since I am dutch, on my phone english and dutch are included. So before experimenting with changing it to that World 1 firmware I would like to know the languages

Updating as we speak...
CDA?
I "thought" I had World Generic 1, since I have that with my P990i bought in Sweden.
Checked my P1i and found it´s CDA 162024/92 R3A.
What´s yours Sweden bought phone?
I also have CDA 162024/92 R3A on my phone bought in Sweden from Katishing...No updates. |

not happy about not having world generic. it was sold as being that. so can we change the cda or something so the system thinks it is? the long email text thing is making the unit very unfit for purpose at this rate. |

Resellers and even the distributors usually don't know the cda's of the devices.
And yes, you can change the cda and there is a long thread on how to do it for free and it is currently right next to this one and starts with 'Unbranding...'
And an easier method is here:

For this one u will have to buy a credit though.

I notice from your screen images that the bluetooth version has been updated, does anyone know if the connection issue to Nokia car kits has been fixed now (incomming calls cut after 11 seconds!)
Thanks

This is not correct. Neither the free method or Kulankendi do work for the P1 at the moment (at least with my phone). The only working solution is Davinciteam - but this is quite expensive (EUR 20,-).
