Will it work with the K800i? It is not mentioned on the SE website in the compatible list, but on some shop websites they say it is.... |

these are for sale at Play.com for £39.99, mentions K800i but not K810i on the compatible list.
Oops, they are available for pre-order. They are released on 27th Nov.

I quite fancy a pair of these!
It does mention the K810i as a compatible phone. I used to have a similar headset for a Nokia phone I had sometime ago and that used to skip through radio stations. Although this isn't mentioned on Play.com either.
* Compatibility:
* Sony Ericsson J230i K310i K550i K618 K790i K800i K850i M600i P990i V630i W300i W580i W610i W660i W700i W710i W810i W850i W880i W900i W910i W950i W960i Z550i Z710i D750i K320i K530i K610i K750i K810i P1i S500i T650i W550i W800 W830i Z520i Z530i Z610i
Handle calls and listen to the music on your Walkman phone without touching it. The OLED display and keys on the HPM-90 put you in full control. Adjust volume, play, skip and view tracks, see who's calling, SMS notification and more. The remote unit on the HPM-90 puts it all at your fingertips. Designed for full sound, a perfect balance of bass and treble played through in-ear headphones gives great audio performance. It's so light you won't even notice it's there.
Features:
3.5 mm jack
Fast port connector
High power handling capacity
Neodymium magnet units
Oxygen-free copper cord
Stereo sound
Two ear plugs
Would have to use my own headphones for these as I don't like the earbuds.

It won't switch radio stations on my K850i. Not sure to what extent this is firmware related. |

I'd say it wasnt firmware related, just clean the gold thingys at the bottom of the phone... and the bottom of the headphones. If no luck then....

I was thinking, is it possible to change the firmware or music player in such a way that it will display this track info? |

Hello.
I just bought them too, but they turned out to be fake. (I'm sure of it).
The sound quality is so poor and the screen is shorter and less crisp than the one advertised on the Sony Ericcson webpage. I thought I could save a few pounds by buying it of Ebay (for £33!). I'm just about to start a dispute and try and get a refund.
I've taken a photo of it using my K850 and would like feedback and your opinions. The LED display does not turn on while photos are being taken.
Thanks in advance.

I think it looks normal, it's the same as the one i have, the display doesn't cover the whole black bit. But i got no complaints about the sound quality, it's great |
