I own both friggin phones and I am totally disgusted by the way SE makes their measurements. Their body thickness for BOTH is 17mm. SE, misleads people by stating that the K810 is 17mm without measuring the small camera bulge. For the K800 they stated that the thickness is 22mm INCLUDING the camera bulge!
WHY DO YOU QUOTE MISLEADING SE MEASUREMENTS AND NOT USE YOUR OWN BRAIN BY LOOKING AT THE PHOTO THAT I POSTED????????????
1. THE K800 IS 22mm AT IT'S THICKEST PART.
2. THE K810 IS 17mm AT IT'S THINNEST PART.
3. THE K800 IS ALSO 17mm AT IT'S THINNEST PART.
Is this clear now??????????????
Also forgot to mention SAR ratings...
K800: 0.58W/Kg
K810: 1.31W/Kg
More than TWICE the radiation to your brain!
There you go once again with the photo!

Obviously you are blind and narrow-minded...and you are NOT pretending!
I never thought that a 300 euro toy could make an adult so obsessed!
Oh, and yes, it does weigh a few grams less because now it is ENTIRELY plastic, CONTRARY to recent serious manufacturers practices whereby they use more and more sheets of metal alloys on their devices!

K810i's buttons are a breeze to type with.
Plus, cool design.
IMO K810i is a deffo over all other (current) Sony Ericsson phones.

Anyway, everyone can make his own judgement based on what he read and saw! I don't think that the K810 has a bad design or is a bad phone, otherwise I wouldn't have bought it. I just happen to like the K800 a little more. I also believe that it's about time that SE freshened up their design because some really beautiful phones are beginning to show up by other manufacturers.
By the way, Plankgatan, I read your post on my phone before you last edited it but I was too busy drinking Jameson to reply! I thought it was humorous and you shouldn't have deleted it! No hard feelings...send me a pm if you come down to Greece to take you out on a wild night!

Sony Ericsson has freshened up designs on their phones f.x. T650 and k850, but they will begin to produce real designer phones in 2008 |

I got the phone, then went for the n95 because the phone had a major fault. My n95 did aswell, but now its fixed up and im loving it.
However the thread is still up for discussion. I found the keys, a lot smaller then expected. Also I found that the screen was just a bit smaller then the k800's?

No it's not. But the border that is on the K800 screen and not the K810i's gives that impression.
They're exactly the same size.

I think that the T650 is fabulous designwise but I can't say the same about the K850. |

I actually happen to like K850's design a bit more than T650's. On second thought... I like it a lot more. |
