Hi Miss UK,

From what i have read on other forms some N91 from ASIA don't have WiFi apparently but at this price if it is not genuine which is against E-bay rules you will get refunded by Pay Pal no problem.

So either way you can't really lose, if it is genuine you have a bargain if not you should get your money back wishing the the best of luck and will be interested to see how this turns out.

Marc

I'm not so sure of that actually, her description looks fine to me .. I cannot see anywhere that she says the phone is a Nokia N91 or that it has any of the N91 features.
I would be very doubtful that Paypal would uphold a charge back based purely on that.

Anyway, reply from seller:

Hi, thanks for your interest, you will notice in the listing heading and the main body of text it states N91 Style, it does not say original. I have also listed all the features of the phone, including the facts it has a camera and video recording. Kind regards laptop_princess

So no mention of wi-fi or bluetooth then and the camera, whilst in the description (I missed that the first 6 times I read it) could be anything resolution wise.

Looks like im done for then,
I hope the seller will accept it back,
will anyone pay £100 for it here if not

Another thing you gotta look at too though the description mentions
"No English Manual"

so maybe she's unaware of the all the features herself Fingers crossed!

Magg, very lovely wanna trade with my dodgey one?

Yep... until tomorrow comes

atleast one thing it states (Sim Free) lmao...
tbh it does look a hell alot like a original N91 ..

isn't it illegal to produce these phones in China then sell them as No Kia or whatever...

Would've thought Nokia would of looked into this considering there look-a-like models of there phones

im afraid to say i dont see how you can request your money back unfortunately kerry,

upon looking at the link for the auction it was obvious it is a copy phone. And the description says this in its own way i.e

N91 style phone, she lists the features it has and mentions none of the features the proper n91 has.

In all honesty i cant see anything wrong with her auction, not once does she say it is an n91, and if the phone you receive has the features that she mentions in the auction, then she has not mis-sold it to you and you are getting exactly what she has described, an n91 style phone, in other words one which looks like it but has none of the features

She'll have to accept it back though if I say ive recieved another phone off a relative, for that reason she cannot say anything.

Thats a good reason to return it..
If I mention all this malarky about it not doing this and that I think she wont be very happy. But my reason she cannot say a thing.

Either that I could try re-selling it on here or on Gumtree
as boba said it's unique...

some people want fancey phones like these but with less features then they are easier to use

Sorry but why is that her problem? She sold the phone as described and unless it does not arrive or it is broken on delivery there is no reason why she should have to refund you.

Personally I wouldn't give a refund .. in fact I have refused one for nearly the same reason as you are going to give.

At the end of the day you are going to lie to the seller because you did not read the description properly, thought it was a bargain and jumped in.

I may sound harsh here but that's how I see the situation.

agree with mike.p
you rushed into buying this phone, and quite frankly, its not even worth it even if it was new.

It says this

"In the event you have to return an item the return costs will be your responsibility"

to me that means anything.

if the phone isn't worth that then surely why is it listed at that?

That's another way of saying that if you return a faulty phone then she will not pay the return postage costs.
She "may" let you return it but has no obligation to from what I can see.

As for the phone not being worth that, who is to say it is and who to say it isn't .. I know when I list phones I always start with a stupidly high price and then reduce it as time goes on.

Its a bit like the silver K800i that you have listed .. you started at £250 and if you got that then well done to you but have now reduced it to a more sensible amount of £200.
