I think I found my next phone. What's the estimated price of this beauty ? I think I'll get the green one although I would of loved a darker shade of green...

I'm a bit worried about the protruding camera lens and lack of shutter but we'll see.
The lens cover might be intergral with the rear cover, i.e easily replaceable.

In this link http://www.chip.de/news/c1_news_26357478.html?tid1=9226&tid2=0 it is said that T650i will be available in september for 550€... I guess the info is for german market release...

550 Euros ? A little too expensive. I think I might be better off with the K800i.

It makes me feel nostalgic- my old but still in use t610. l love it!
Why does SE still persist with crappy vidoe recorder?

shaliron, are you sure it comes with flash menus? that would be great. IMO the T series is the new leader of the line (apart from the P series, of course). premium materials, combined with a balanced set of features from both the W and K series, it's for those who want a perfectly good handset without compromise. |

Same here The T610 was a winning formula, I'm glad to see the T series being rejuvenated.

I don't think so. perfectly good WITHOUT compromise would mean both features i.e. walkman 2.0 (or even 3.0 later) instead of media player and cybershot funktions instead of normal camera (ok, it has autofocus).
I think, its for people who like beatuiful handsets with a certain functionality. however freaks MUST be disappointed, 'cos it's neither a really good music-phone nor e really good camera phone.
at least it's aesthetic |

ah, cheers.
IMO, the cybershot and walkman branding means exactly that. just branding. if the hardware remains on par, I don't see why it can't compete in terms of picture performance or music playback. you might have a Cybershot interface, but can you say that your photos taken are better than those without Cybershot branding? I think it'll be more or less par, same as the W800i vs K750i photography abilities.
and music playback, there are many threads already discussing the difference. for me, at the end of the day, it's just a matter of branding. |

Oooooooooo! I rather like this one, will it be available in just green and blue? I loved my T610 & T68i back in the day, so glad to see the T series back, cracking phones!
