@ MAXXXXX WEDGE,
I ACTUALLY agree with most of what you're saying, but that's my hidden point: You can take your post, switch "k750" and "w810" around and it'll still be the "truth" for someone else - know what I mean??? it's just like the K800 v. N73 thread... it's like Bush's prewar Iraq speeches - they now recycle them, inserting "Iran" where it used to say "Iraq" (in some cases identical speeches btw...)...
80 percent of posts in the comparison-threads can usually be randomly placed anywhere on the hate-to-love-scale... switch a couple of words, and it's all "true"....
(P.S. actually, I didn't mean "shutter" ... just meant that silly slider-cover-thingy... silly me!!)

you are right of course Maggflod, but I'm just reporting my findings, not a scientific analysis with proof
Never-the-less I am very happy with my K750, and when I had a W810 back on my K750 for several months, I SEVERELY missed my active lens cover.

... Also I find my "old" k750 (silver) quite "pretty"... Just can't handle those small screens anymore (7 months e61 changes your perspective in that regard, so my contribution's slightly tainted... Tried the w880 yesterday...HOW small is that thing??? I like it, but I couldn't possibly use it...

Yep, I think I'm gonna get the K750
It should last for 2 years, because in 2 years I'll be in University, and I think I'm gonna buy a smart-phone. I just need a good, stable and not so pricy phone till then. BTW, the K750 in the shop I saw it had 2 years of warranty, so no prob
Actually I wanted to buy the Motorola Rokr E2, but couldn't find it in Romania nowhere... (It runs Linux )
Thanks everyone for your opinions and advices. I may get a little bag for it, like the LG Chocolate's, who knows

As I said in my 1st post, the K750 (nonbranded) costs 190 euros, and the W810 (orange branded) 300 euros.

I wouldn't pay 190 euros for K750 either, but given the choice and prices provided from the poster who is asking the question and setting the parameters, I would choose the K750 over the W810 everytime
