ok thanks darthsith for the info.. i will try to change the customize.xml for that purpose

Chunkylover5,
have you install the "USB flash" driver on your phone. If not, get the latest release and install the usb flash driver first. Another method, try to take out battery from the compartment first, then put it back on there. hold "C" while put the USB cable on fast-port. You can upload the file without problem if you're using the Red phone.

same here... but later i upload grouped_standby.swf to phone but it still doesn't support the function.. anyone succeed using the standby flash?

i tried it 4-5 times because i got error line like this:

send datachunk failed
failed to upload...

it takes 4-5 hours each.. but sometimes it takes less than 30 minutes and it's succeed then.. lol.. but the flash menu of w850i like grouped lagged a bit on my phone.... i'm using gif instead of swf on standby screen.. but the gif takes a lot of space and my phone didn't show anything there sometimes.. haha...

by running PhoneXC_DCU60.exe file (just to upload swf onto tpa..folder), it need 'hacking" by usually 4-5 hours...

Question, won't this execution hurt the W900i memory portion?

no it won't. It just the way to upload the file to the phone by hacking it.. actually it depends on the luck. Sometimes it takes times before it succeed, but if you're lucky enough it takes 10 minutes or 30 minutes only. Put the *.swf file to tpa/....../.../flash folder.

I have some questions:

- why is default Backstreet so slow on my W900i? I just can't work with slow user interface...
- how can i open this folder on my PC? "tpa\preset\system\desktop\flash"
I failed with Phone Xs and Phone Xc, isn't there a way to set SWF path in theme.xml... to something like in main themes folder?

I was able to hack and upload .. but cannot manage to add files to tugzip after editing the file (with XML) as it keeps coming up with an error.
Would someone be able to upload the edited themes?
Just the eight themes:
breakbeat.swf
Active_desktop.swf
clubpulse.swf
grouped_desktop.swf
FemaleLine_desktop710.swf
fone.swf
Lava_desktop.swf

Thanks in advance

I don't have the themes, but tugzip shouldn't give you an error. Select all files>right click>add to... a new window appears. From the drop down menu "Format" select TAR. This will automatically change the extension of the file in "Name:" to .tar. After it does, you manually change it to .thm and press ok.

Another reason for the themes not to work can be if they are not modified for the W900. When I open a theme from K800 for example with SE's themes creator, after I have selected W900 for phone type, it says something like "this theme is version 4.5, you need themes version 4.1 to work with W900" and modifies it to the right version (it does no picture resizing, it just makes it work, nothing more). Then I save the modified theme. However, you need to do this before editing the xml file of the theme.

read!
-when uploading new files to phone using Phone XS (or xs++) you have to install SE USB flash drivers (just turn off the phone, hold C and plug the cable in, then just select those drivers for new founded device, voila!)
-for those who have problem with phone starting in transfer mode when it's not suposed to do that.. solution?
Disable all XP autostart features and if that doesnt help... hold C right before first reconnecting and disconnetcting (just wait for 2000,3000,4000... and then just after 4000 hold down C button again, you must do that only at first reconnecting, the phone shouldn't turn on no more)
-Do you have brown phone? No problem, the newest versions of phone XS and XS++ (alpha 6) can handle brown phone (mine is brown and i uploaded flash menus)
-Almost all of W850, K800... themes (*.thm) DONT! work on W900, you will have to create theme for yourself
-It's much easier to edit a THEME.XML with Total Commander. In this file managing program you just rename .THM to .ZIP, open it and edit theme.xml with notepad (F4 in TC), then the program itself it will ask to save and re-zip again) Then just rename file to .THM back
