As a fairly satisfied K800 user, I'll probably hang fire and see what the spec of the K900 is going to be, or maybe the K910
Next step for me I think would be a higher quality camera, maybe 5 megapixels which I think is about as high as you'd ever need to go on a phone, and a larger screen. I'd also like to see a serious improvement in video recording quality.
I don't think the K810 is a big enough leap forward for me change but if you've still got a K700 or a K750 I'd say go for it.

thats seems really naff. It's a re housed k800, no improvments on video, no inclusion of edge. I can't actually see why they would waste money on producing this. i meen, as a k800 owner there is simply no way id dream of changing to that. i dont like the keypad at all either!
roll on sofia...please

Wish for a thinner K800 -- SE listened w/ K810
Wish for a K600 w/ autofocus & better music player software -- SE listened w/ W610

I'd like to hear about improved optics/sensor quality (still 3mp) over k800 and also about improved video quality. |

i really like this them buttons!
although i'm supprised Sony Ericsson haven't moved away from the jotstick. i spose it makes navigating easier but not that much easier than the more reliable D pad design. i've seen joystick problems on nearly every phone with the joystick design T6** k7** W800 and some with the K800i. maybe time to scrap that.
i cant really see this being a big seller though. i think people will be looking for something different than a K800i thats been on a diet.
i do like the design though and would purchase 1

another minor upgrade for the midrange battle... it's a good release.. it's semi thin.. powerful camera.. and solid phone with a nice look... and it'll sell.....
remember se is in the business of making phones for everyone.. don't worry the high end ones will come... just not sure if they'll be any good lol

The keypad of K810 reminds me of this one : Mobiado Luminoso
BTW, what's about K818? It shows in uncomplete Press Release at SE Website.

So,
As a P990i user, what can I say?
That nothing here impresses me.
Good music phones but nothing to compete in terms of music with my P990, even lacking that Walkman 2.0 player.
Not too impressed by later releases .
Looks like some sort of SE phones iteration. A normal evolution but nothing more.
@celltech
Where did you get those N95 and W610 already?

Sosojerk! I'm a lucky fella, Santa gave them to me........lol
I already found the camera button sticking after a few shots,
hope this is not going to be a problem when commercially launched,
also navigation with the jog dial for me is a problem its not easy due to the size of my thumb..........
