imo he is interested if its possible or not. u wrote once, that they offer a way, even i doubt it. couldnt u check it on your own?

Yep, @Bobafett, that's what I meant. I'm as sceptical about an official SE service centre offering such a modification as you are. But I'm just curious since the original poster did mention that he heard somewhere that there was such a possibility.

You're probably right. I'd love to see 3rd-party mods like these though. Then we would really have control over the functions we want in our phones.

no, to ajetpv, cos he wrote once:
"its true, atleast here in delhi, india. one of my friend had a k300. the shop and the SE service centre both are under the same roof. the shopkeeper told us that we can get the radio as well in just $20 extra. the service centre installed the radio in minutes. i dont know whether it is legel or not.
but its true.
not only in SE but you can get the radio in nokia, moto, samsung phones also. ofcourse the quality is not at par."
