My screen does flicker more when dialing unlike before.
The dedicated speaker button while dialing is a very nice feature. Thank goodness they added it.

For example, mine shows 'World Generic2' and I think this maybe the reason I am not seeing some of the features here; my phone is unbranded...

my SEUS shows world generic 2.also, my phone is unbranded.
does anybody knows what that means?

anyway, the update went well.
thanks masseur for letting us know the new fw version is out. cheers!

video playback improved dramatically, but as im writting right now,the on screen keyboad seems laggy or somethin'
one more thing:before restoring the bakup point i had 18,6 mb free ram.after restoring i had 20,6mb. this is the first time i have over 20mb free ram since i have this phone

Just outta curiosity, has anyone tried the v3.45 BBC client that's now working on the P990i WITH the latest M600i firmware?

I know that with v3.37, there were seperate clients for both models. Just wondered if it had changed. Still looking to update the firmware on my g/f's M600i, but will need a working BBC client first,

Thanks guys.

seems that you can now also activate the speakerphone while the number is still dialing

that is reason enough to upgrade fw, makes safer dialling when in traffic

Just hope they had it to the w950

The new BBC v.3.45 sis file for the P990 works perfectly on the M600 and also on the W950 with the latest firmwares (R9)

I have tested BBC v.3.45 all day on a P990, a M600 and also on a generic W950 and a Voda W950.

All works perfectly.

The new sis file is a generic UIQ3 SE file for all UIQ3 platforms.

if you need it drop me a PM

regards

Are you using the /8 firmware (Chinese Input enabled)? If so, I don't think the firmware is out yet.

It looks like the /8 firmware is now 2 firmware releases behind. With all the improvements, I am thinking of giving up the Chinese input for a better and more stable English firmware.

Some good things in this fw upgrade. I´ve noticed that making a call is much faster now. Before I usually had to wait 3-5 seconds from pressing call before signals started going through, and now there's almost no delay at all.

I just encountered one problem sometimes when receiving calls the phone will display call diverted even if they are actually calling your number. Does anyone encountered this?

but the pro's & new features are:

the phone got 40% faster.
I have'nt experience hang-ups since my last update 03/01/07
there's an option for USB thingy like K800
speaker option when calling
USB icon whenever u connect the usb cable
media online option in menu
louder speakers

That's all. please correct me if I am wrong.

Is it always true that firmware version for say, hk one with chinese input, get released soon after the generic one... if ever?

I am still waiting for a firmware for my m600i ... to fix many bugs that you guys have got them fixed in previous firmwares... and I am still waiting... The chinese one is very buggy that it doesn't save the date format after reboot... etc. etc. SEUS just keeps telling me that I have the latest and no need to update...
