Don't think they'll let me sell her on Ebay!

Got some screws now that should fit the phone, so am going to swap the facias today, and perhaps get the phone listed on Ebay with any luck this evening!

good luck with the project sammy_boy, I have just completed the same trick to get my hands on an m600i from scratch aswell, feels very nice when you get what you have been waiting for.

I have been doing this with many phones for some time as you may have known, but just before xmas bought a faulty m600i for £68.03 and yesterday got it fully working again, now I need to sell my w810i, which I bought for £40 faulty couple of months back. Whenever I buy a new phone i usually sell the old one for more than I bought the previous one, so make a bit on the side.

Not sure I need to keep doing it as im pretty happy with my m600i as it is.

Just changed the facia and put the phone back together, all working fine except when I press the joystick right it selects instead of navigating right, bit of a bugger! Will probably have to take it apart and have another look, hopefully it's not a problem was working fine with the old facia on, could be I've put a screw on too tight even.

Phone looks very good and will hopefully net me a bit of profit when I've just fixed that joystick niggle

Hi sam, there was this little problem with the fascia on my phone. If I screw the bottom screws a bit tight, the keys 7, * and 0 are very hard to press and are sort of like very together. Hope you're not having this trouble! I just loosened the screws a bit and it's fine

Have taken that screw out for now, still doing it! Will try taking the phone apart again tomorrow and having another look, if I still can't fix it I might have to sell the phone as slightly faulty

Had another fiddle with the screws and the joystick appears to be working OK now! Still sometimes if you catch it slightly wrong will select instead of moving right, might just put that little caveat on the listing, but will probably list this tonight!

So when's the phone going on eBay.
I've just had a look at your auctions and there's no phone there.

Nearly forgot, spent an extra £1 for some screws and other bits therefore bringing to total up to [b]£18.48[/]

Here we are the auction for the T630 is now up and running!

My T630 auction on Ebay

I've mentioned the joystick's slight error and the fact there's no imei sticker, but am still hoping for at least £30 for it - as long as I at least make a small profit and it goes over £20. I'm quietly confident of that happening, it's a 3 day auction, have a bid or ten if interested!

Who needs an IMEI sticker when you can call it up anyway on the phone itself.

I made that point in the auction too, that you can type *#06# to bring it up and that it wasn't a problem!

Had a few bids so far (mostly from Esatonians I think, thanks for the start all! ), lets see where we finish!
