My K800i battery lasts 3-4 days (24 hours nonstop) and I use it quite much (GPRS, radio, camera, SMS, 100% screenlight, torch). In the beginning two times the battery was empty after 48 hours.

Yes as often as possible from 100 percent to zero percent. That is the best way to have a good battery for years.

hmmm I just got k800i about 2 weeks ago...

but maybe it's just me, and am being paranoid, because my old W810i walkman fone used to be practically invincible!! like 85% would be left at the end of the day with moderate heavy usage! but with the k800i... im at like 57% at the end of the day... with not as heavy of a usage... hmm... no way

The way to extend li-on batt is as ffg:

Run in your new batt the 1st 2-3 times ie. Drain completely. When the phone switches off automatically do not switch it on untill it is charged again.

After that, try not to let it drop below 10%. Li-ion dos'nt like extremes. When the batt is fully charged ie. 100% do not let it get too hot or it will exceed it's normal operating voltage. This is how the majority of laptop batteries get damaged also.

There is also a thread on battery conditioning. It is the best to drain the battery until it is empty, then charge it fully. I have been doing that for almost 3 years with my P900 and the batt lasts about 2-3 days for me. Still original first battery.

I've had my k800 for about 3 months now and my battery lasts 2 days. I have 3g on (I don't even know what this is for.. don't think i use it but it's on). I have a screensaver. My brightness is 100%. I listen to music to and from work (about 2 hours non stop) plus usually read the news on my way to work. I play games during my lunch break (sometimes during work too). As well as make phones calls and text throughout the day. This phone has the best battery of any phone i've ever had. Even for phones that i only used to make calls and texts with *cough*RAZR*cough*
