I did the test Lisa and I do see it again on the P990i when Swiss manager is not running. So leave this point. I really looked at it yesterday and I noticed it.
However I wanna check if it occurs more often when I do have Swiss manager switched on. I will do more testing.

@MR,
I have noticed this behaviour since the latest FW upgrade. I have both automatic key lock and screen saver activiated after 1 min. But sometimes it doesnt lock it even though the screen is black and other times the screen saver is on but the backlight doesnt go off and neither is the keys locked.
I dont know if this behaviour is related to Swissmanager as i always exit the application. |

Something strange and I do not know what it is related to. I am still looking to find out what it is. I think something happens during while closing the flip.

I've been using Swiss Manager alot and I've noticed that sometimes it gets killed in the process of using the phone but there's no warning that it has been killed. The only way I know this is when I close the flip and it doesn't report "Closing applications...". I open the flip and then see that Swiss Manager is no longer running. Is there anyway of keeping it from getting killed automatically by the OS?

| Yes, we will include an option to resist killing by the OS.

Another request: is it possible to have a mini icon at the bottom of the flip open screen showing that SM is running (just like the WLAN and message mini icons) and if you tap it, it switches to SM? With this, SM could almost replace Task Manager.

can't you guys make a small "X" that sits beside the back link in programs, to close the app? or is that too complex. windows mobile devices have this, and i would love to see it on the symbian os. |

Well, one of the above two brilliant ideas is actually the main added feature of the coming Pro version of Swiss Manager. At this stage I'm not allowed to say more, but a beta test for Pro will be announced quite soon.

Wooho! How much will it cost? I will pay anything to get the little "X" beside the back link! |

| No need for "anything", we will just ask for enough to keep us alive and going and writing more useful code.

It seems that even only running the Swiss manager, it will deplete the RAM causing the P990i to reboot to improve it's performance.
I've experienced it a few times after using it for a few days.

tis a huge shame bout the restricted access to sys and private folders in the new symbian OS....
If only we had access we could change a whole lotta things like fonts, way the system works and have apps like swissman that have access to these folders!!!
