It just looks crap when you talk on the phone and you have this strap dangling down the side of your face.
SE should rather have included a cleaning cloth (like with the K750i) than this poofter strap.
On the other hand, I might be able to use it as a whip one day if ever I get into S&M... |

@ xan K, I see you hang out in the Dominican Republic. Maybe that's why. Here in my home patch SE/O2 supplied it.

i would prefer the strap to the cleaning cloth, i've always wanted se to include a strap - the cleaning cloth is just like those people use to clean their glasses lense therefore available widely

Never got a cleaning cloth with my 750, O2UK. I believe they only came with later batches. Would of perfered a cleaning cloth with the 800 though it is a finger print magnet. |

saw this guy pull out his PINK phone. My 1st reaction was URGGggg... poopater. The first thought that came to my head was that he had a very small 'snake'
Straps are cool, i would loop it around my pants ( the part where you slip your belt in) and place it in my pocket. Play basketball and when walking off the street. Can't touch this.

I keep the phone in my pocket with the strap hanging out. when it rings I just grab the strap and pull it out. makes it much easier!
I like the strap (that I stole off of my camera) |

I used to just keep mine wrapped around my hand, and carry the phone in my hand pretty much everywhere, if i were to be texting or making calls / bluejacking.
I eventually took the strap off however, it was doing my nut in.

I use the strap when needed. I have a wrist strap on my key ring that I can quick change (using the little clippy things neckstraps come with) when I need it on my phone. I don't know if it's gay, but it sure is practical sometimes.
I also have a neckstrap for times when it's handy having the phone around my neck for example when I go on bike ride combined photography forays.
Most of the time however I carry it in the body glovecase sans strap.
From Left: Wrist strap, neck strap, and the dongle with quick release clip attached to the phone.
In body glove case:
