The question you all have to ask your slef is, did the retailer ever tell you the phone came with a M2 card? or fancy headset? NO well then you got what you paid for. End of.

Also I would think that SE must supply the phones as they have been shipped ie no M2 card and no fancey headset, to the retailers, why would O2, CPW and others remove a 64MB card/ Have you ever seen one of these for sale? NO so where are they? What has the shop done with them? Simple answer nothing, SE never supplied them, this could be a cost saving exercize on the retailers side, which could mean you have got your phone cheaper then if it did come with a card, and a card that most of you wouldn't use any way as it's too small.

my view is this

the white papers and manuals always mention the size of an included memory stick and I study these in great detail as they are released. The K800 white paper does not mention an included memory stick and nor does the manual.

now, in contradiction to that, and the email you have received I have just called SE support and was informed that they are aware the O2 K800's are not being supplied with a memory stick but said that sim free ones should be supplied with a 256mb card. This person confirmed that HPM-65 is the headset supplied in the package and said that the HPM-70 is only supplied with the walkman phones.

Being highly suspicious of that info I said thanks and called back and spoke to someone else who gave me the exact same details so I asked them to confirm with someone else and after 5 mins they came back with that confirmation.

make of that what you will be if you are in UK feel free to call 08705 237 237 and see what they say.

all I know is that neither my o2 one, nor my sim free one, came with a memory stick

I was surprised to see the HPM-70 mentioned as I would have presumed that only the Walkman phones should have them in my view.

on ebay though, the ones I have seen mostly do not mention a memory stick and those that do seem to have different deals with different sized M2's, i.e. they are pricnig the package depending on the size you want

I tend to go with the white paper and manual and believe that SE customer service info is simply not accurate, especially when their email contradicts their verbal and neither agrees with what appears to be reality

it's presumably stolen, as it clearly says it's locked and barred in the uk.
you'll be able to get it unlocked in a few weeks i would think. but it really depends on the quality of the components.
worth a go if you can afford it, and if it's not up to standards, play dumb and complain to ebay.
