have to admit, that imo its bigger, but might be its just optical, cos 6280 is a slider, so its a bit tricky, let me check it somewhere else

Played with the 6280 last week and I can't imagine that it could deliver a knockout punch to the K800 after reading several favourable reviews.

'Will definitely go for the K800 here ! The Nokia 6280 is just an 'upgrade' (does not differ much) of the Nokia 6270 which I do not like the - design !

I am with JN on this one. The K800 steps into the generation after the famous T610 and carries on the torch.

The 6280 is a pretty boring mobile to me. Nothing really exciting about it.

Hey Everyone,
Many Many Thanks for your posts and replies, i think im
gona go with the SE K800 cos i av always had Nokia phone, 5110, 3310,
3330, 5100, 7210, tried the 5140 didnt like that at all, then i bought a
samsung v200, that was ok but not that good, couldnt download
ringtones and all that, then i had a k700i and i was gobsmacked at how
that phone looked, (how can i say it) upmarket compared to all the nokias i
have had and the samsung, so i think i'll stick with SE
Many Thanks

Hi there...
k800 or... ? Is that a real question? O.k., I couldn't tell the 6280 from the 666 but really... I have had a k700, k750i, w550i, and now a k800i. And yes, I also have a nokia 6680. That of course has nothing to do with the 6280, but the 6680 is so very, very bad, that the very fact that a manufacturer would decide to use that phone as a template for a follow-up
makes my mind boggle. Really. And I'm not some SE-groupie.
I cannot begin to explain why the 6680 is so crap, as this forum would be pushed out of the space-time-continuum, but to imagine guys sitting around, thinking, "we have to built a new gadget, so what will we base it on?" - "Why not call it N70, and base it on the brilliant 6680?" ... However improved the n70 may be, any company allowing a continuation in whatever form of the 6680 must be boycotted - no matter how tempting the n91 may be, or the 6280, or the... DO NOT CONSIDER what 6280 can do that k800 can't! Compare what both CAN DO, and you will realise Sony Ericsson rule! (go, borrow a 6680, and use it for a while, then check how
great the specs look on paper compared to k750 or whatever... In reality e v e r y t h i n g is so verrrrrry slooooow, the music player soooo bad, the ram so limited, the plastic so, eh, plastic, and i wouldn't take another nokia phone ever. NOT for free. Not if it could perform unspeakable sex acts or ingenious missions of world peace. God... k800 or NO-kia???
Go awawy, you kidder4
