The listing has had over 1000 views, so thanks guys... (I assume quite a few are thanks to you lot!)

Just to confirm also, Cash on collection is an option if you win...

Daz,

Are production k790i phones quad band or is it just the prototypes?

And if it's just the prototypes, do you know if new firmware updates will continue to support quad band functionality?

As of yet, it seems nobody knows whether it will be Quad band or not. All the SE pages say Tri-Band, so it could go both ways.

There is potential here for some very rare phones if at production they decide to go tri-band though.

But yes, I doubt firmware would hamper the phones ability to use extra bands, I cannot be 100% sure of that though.

Any more Q's, don't hesitate to ask, and good luck with the bidding! Daz.

Someones gonna get a good deal there with it still being on £410. If I'd have seen this sooner I would certainly have had one from you (Dont' need 3g) but I've just pre ordered a sim free K800 for £346 (Got a 20% discount) from my mates shop.

Anyone fancy this to celebrate englands win?!

Not much of a performance, but will take the three points!

Anyway, not long left on this...

Get bidding - I warn you, leaving this too late will be cause for dissapointment, I see alot of last minute bidders coming in, judging by the massive number of watchers... Good luck though if you are planning to make a bid. Cheers. Daz.

I absolutely LOVE it. But then again, i'm one of the few people that seems to love handwriting recognition. If you spend some time to begin with, it's by far the fastest way to input text. (Apart from a full size keyboard...)

I didn't have a symbian phone for a year, but when i picked up the M600i for the first time, i was writing perfectly again. It is seriously intuative. But, I do stress that you should learn how to use it properly before deciding it's 'crap'. - which is what alot of people don't seem to do.

Back onto topic though, interested in the K790i?

Well, basically, I know someone that can get these phones early, and he offered me two... The same way I have had access to pre-release phones in the past. Prototypes are given out to many people to test software etc. by SE... Hence how these phones get out.

I don't want to keep it, because I have an M600i, which is more suited to my needs. I had two of these K790i's offered to me, and thought i'd share such an opportunity with everyone, hopefully for some profit.

Hope that explains it to you... Daz.
