No joke,
I got my friend in idnoesia to buy it for me and send it to me. Basically....its a type of "skin" that he put on the p800 device. Except he had to have done some work inside to move the flip. The software and everything is identical to the P800 so thats how I can infer this. Great looking phone but now I have two P800 one normal one REALLY cool one hehe. |

Sorry @Sage, but no - this was an SE concept phone from CEBit, years ago. Even the picture is from the CEBit exhibition.
IMO it's very unlikely that this will be a P900 - there's no touchscreen for a start - look, you can see the light reflecting off a raised plastic screen cover.
This is truly a concept phone and it'll never be anything else - if it is, I'll eat my hat. |

I saw this dummy phone in the Millennium Dome exhibition back in 2000 and it was small like a T68 and looked really neat. What don't they build phones like that instead of all the new soap shaped ones? |

We used to live less than 15 min from it so we thought we might just as well pop along and see what all the fuss was about. It was pretty much about nothing, apart from the acrobat show which was well impressive. |

Its supposed to be a 3g Prototype phone,..its been shown on different occasions,..and theres been quite a few posts here on Esato regarding this phone.
I believe some of the first pictures of it came about the same time, as the Nokia 7650 hit the streets,..so its not exactly new !
65k+ colors, MS Duo, 3G,...and still, its a concept/showcase...not a production-model.
When looking at the current design-lines of SE, I dont really see this phone going into production,..although it is still one of the best looking ones out there

It was just a prototype they showed for about 1,5 years ago...But if it someday comes to the market...every1 of us, Sony Ericsson adorers, will definitively gonna BUY IT! must be the absolute GREATEST phone ever built so far... |
