Nope, Japanese phones use a differents frequency or something which make them impossible to use in anywhere apart from Japan. I'm not that sure about the specifics though.

There has still been no announcement on this slider, although it sounds interestingly high tech. "a slider that has buttons like the s700 and a screen that can change orientation". Sounds great. A slider with a twist... ;-)

Well the update is that the phone will be a slider/swivel and will probably be a Handycam branded phone as well. Apparently high-definition recording, although I doubt that they could fit that much onto a phone's small memory. That's all I think...
