No you don't! I read in the British Marie Claire that British men are second in the world having the smallest ones- beaten by the Japanese only.

What's all this Marie Claire girly nonsense! I read that fact that English men have the biggest balls in 'The Sun'. How can you possibly dispute a reputable reliable source like that!!??

Yeah for real 'The Sun' quoted stats...
they measured a random sample of men for size. The measure used was BFH (British Female Handfuls).
And...before you say it...British birds don't have small hands!!!!!!!!!!

actually i think america was first given the name after Amerigo Vespucci the italian mapmaker that acknowledged its existence, whereas the first person to get there (according to sources) even though he didn't realize it was Christopher Colombus and he thought he was in india, hence name indians for native americans. and colombus was from portugal and was portugese.
also!!! yugoslavia (where i'm from) had Nikola Telsa who invented the alternating current (AC electricity) allowing it to be carried further whereas edison's DC power would have needed too many generators and the current didn't travel as far. so all the people that are more than a mile from a major city can thank Nikola Tesla for their electricity! and he also did some other things but i forgot! |

America was discovered by Cristofer Columbus, or Cristobal Colón, in spanish.
It's not clear where whe was portugueze, spaniard or italian, but he was commanding a spaniard fleet for the catholic kings (Isabel and Fernando).
There are some evidences that vikings might have got there before, or even the chinesse (some stone anchors found in the wet coast), but officially the discoverer was working for SPAIN.
And also some centuries ago, most of the known world was spaniard. Felipe the second could say something like "in my country the sun doesn't set"
Also Felipe II send the "armada invencible" against england, but was defeated by the weather. The world could have been very different.
Ad obviously, you can't live from history.
I think that the history that is being taught nowadays is very weak.
Sorry for my english, but it's not my native language, and it's been years since my last class.
