the only reason i see them releasing non-3g would be because the other version will be quad band gsm.. i hope they do ... but the non 3g version doesn't have the gaming keys..

it would be great if SE finally use the automatic speaker technology once used in the R520m.
it would be much easyer when you pic up the phone and switch to 3G.

i liked the leaked picts better, this official one looks cheaper and doenst have the cool brushed metal look..
i´m honestly not impressed, the only major difference is the camera and it has a drawback, the memory micro up to 1gb only, c´mon k750/w800 supports up to 4gb!! i was hoping for a symbian phone with larger memory together with a 3.2mp cam. The 3.2mp alone is not such big news. I hope se comes up with the walkman version of this phone and then this w brother will have big mem and uiq3.0 and perhaps even compatible with psp(like the leaked picts)
I´ll stick to my w800, still waiting for my next phone. |

Yes, but surely if you had a choice between the K750i and the K800i seen here, you would choose the latter? I think (given, of course, that this is the official K750i replacement) I would pick this one, just for the continually improving software.
When I stepped up to the K750i from my K700i, the difference was astounding. I would be expecting nothing less from the software on the K800i.
I'm not certain about this 1gb expandable memory limitation. Initially it was speculated that the K750i would not push past 1gb either, but it has. This phone may be the same?

since k750´s annoucement people said it would support 4gb, ´k800´ cant do that because of the memory micro and i dont think sony will produce 4gb micros cos otherwise se would have stated that this phone supports up to 4gb even if the 4gmicro is not out yet, remember that by the time k750 was announced only 1gb memory pro duos were in the market and everybody knew it would support 4gb cards?
i agree that software and menu updates are very good but u´ll still be stuck with java apps and mini browsers. What about mp3s? will this phone have walkman interface or we´ll have to search through folders to find a song and have no info of the song playing at the moment?
k750/w800 was such a big jump for se, it would be great if they did again.
cybershot is cool, but for me not enough. perhaps k750´w800´s real successor is yet to come. |

another downside is that this phone will only attrack people interested in cams while k75 w8 both appealed for both cam and mp3 consumers. just think, if you want music and a good cam would u pay less for 2mp and 4gb or more for 3.2MP and only 1gb?
