It's a shame the are moving away from the all-rounders. My W800 contract is almost up and Id love a simple upgrade re: camera and walkman features. Can't say any of the new phones look as nice as the W800 Kinda makes me wonder what I should do come Aug/September!

I agree with you 100% on this jakester2000.
don't have any real upgrade out for the W800.

Unless you call a phone with a camera @ 2MP without AF but with the walkman player v.2 an upgrade...
I sure don't...

Don't know if you have seen this already but at se-store.com there is a list of phones with stickies showing there current released months.

Don't know how accurate it is but it is an indication.

Here.

Nice info goldenface. Should I put it in the first post?

Also what do you think about the walkman symbols in the list, should I use them or not? =P

It looked OK to me earlier on :-). Yes I would put the link in the 1st post. Then SE would update it.

its kinda funny when they compare the K800 to the K750 with regards to MegaBass™, it sez on the K800 whitepaper, the K800 has it... but the K750 doesnt... what does that mean? tho i can see MegaBass option on my player. has anyone notice this? especially those eyeing on the K800.

that was actually my point riffola... the K800 white paper has this comparison with K750, and on the MegaBass section... the K750 has a NO answer while the K800 has YES.... have you read the K800 whitepaper?

Either a)it was an accident and they'll hopefully update the whitepaper. b) they were trying to make the K800 sound even better. Personally I think it was the latter. Who can blame them from trying.

Z710 is Carina
W710 is Charlotte
W850 is Cyndi
Z550 is Moly
K790 is Evita
K800 is Wilma
Z530 is Jing
AND
I think that V630 is Riko brcause when it said i-mode, they might have meant 3G

Also, I just created an updated chart, so S4k1s, you can use it in your first post if you want.

I looks like that K790 won't be available because it has disappeared from Sony Ericsson's web site...

Its just not available in some countries.

It is featured on the USA and Russian site as the K790 so it is only avaiable in some markets.

I suspect this is not to upset the 3G operators. I did read an early press release telling us that there would be no difference in price between the two if they were offered at the same time in the same place.
