I also gave my T68i for updating yesterday in a carphone warehouse branch here in Liverpool centre. (Lord Street). It'll be ready tomorrow (fingers crossed they'll throw the latest version in)...more news tomorrow as they happen (I'm updating from R2B, so I'll probably notice a considerable speed improvement)... |

and does anyone know if they already put the Dutch version online?
|

Yes, the Dutch version is on-line, but only the T68i version. I did the upgrade from R5A.

Is it just me who find all these software upgrades kinda pointless? I mean, each upgrade which is supposed to fix bugs, just seems to creates new ones... I still have R2B025 in my phone and before that R1b. Unless they'll release some mayor upgrade like the MMS one, you wont find me in a Service Center near you!!

I have no idea... usually it's released at the same time as for T68i...
checked the server 20min ago and there was still just R2F version for those countries having that and a R2B version for an Asian language version.

@velman
I think the update is mainly interesting if you want to use 4 downlink GPRS channels. Older software can only handle 3 downlink channels.

t68i with R5C now supports WCSS for XHTML mobile profile. Before it was only XHTML Basic and XHTML Mobile without WCSS supported.
look at this post, and enter provided link in first post, to see.
