can the kays be locked? "the keys" meaning the screen and the lower keys?
just a stupid question, though! but i keep my phone in my pants pocket, and dont want any extra costs ...

Yes, with the game key 2 and the left or right upper key at the key nex to the joy. Dont remember clear. It has autolock aswell.

yes, it has the 3 logo on it. but the ex owner used the wap and gprs . so it is not "branded" anymore.
i have the settings from my network, but there is smth wron... grrr

But is it still 3 branded? Afaik there is no moto fw for it, only the one from 3 and i could get any other op settings for it once. Might be it could be flashed with se p fw, but not sure, if the hw accept it. Did u ask your friend how he managed it?

still, really annoyed, because i am anxious to get to wap sites like getjar and start downloading stuff. hmm...
perhaps later in the afternoon i will visit some operator Hq for assistance.

No, but the fw isnt the best one and no upgrade. Did u notice, when u put in the batt, the fone turns on by its own?

there is another person who said he can give me an 2006 FW. but cand i updrade the phone by myself, with that docking station, or USB cable (which i have included in the box, btw.)?

Afaik the is no upgrade, actually 3 hasnt got it. Its an old fone, might be moto has one, but i doubt. It wasnt very succesful in europe, the operators was happy to get a rid of them. Not sure u can do it on your own, gonna check it out for u.

just found out that the alarm does not go on when the phone is off. typically moto. well. might as well get use to it, for a couple of months, and then get back to  P series.
