w900 + a 2gig mem stick + mxe-60 flash.. now that'd be an N91 sleeper..
the only thing i like from the N is that it's stylish(but bulky) it's a smartphone, and it's 4 gig.. but if ur gonna fill them with audios, i bet it's gonna give u a hard time as the format N uses are only Mp3 wav midis and oh yeah eAAC(what the?.. hehe)..
w900's on the other hand is just a "click and drag itunes" player... plus i like the color balance of SE LCD's, it's brighter and more vivid, unlike nokias which are sharper but dull colored. Nokia is definitely stupid for having their consumers get excited on an over hyped fone, just like the n90. sad.

"There is a possibility to record the music from the FM radio and a line in for the N91." I'd like to see how many ppl would see that as a major feature to spend 700 euros on, when the poor ol' brick lacks a basic vibra feature!

But the truth is u can't compare a Symbian device with a regular factory op sys. I'd go with Symbian anytime cuz u can enhance it with good software of ur choice.

Thats very true- with the Symbian Smartphone there are a wealth of possibilities in terms of software etc as compared to the W900 - so i can see how comparison between the two will be somewhat difficult.
Can the W900 play WMA format - it would be a big plus if it could because i'm quite fed up with converting music to another format for my phone lol. Seems like the N91 can play WMA and some other formats which is a big plus!! |

Surely as a symbian phone you can make it play all sorts of formats? |

Yeah, I guess a Symbian phone can be made to support any codec as long as the resources onboard can manage the requirements of the decoding algorithm.
However, since new smart phones are more powerful than PCs that existed about 10~15 years ago, I don’t think we need to worry about resources
