It depends on the source...if you can find a good enough source to get inside info...I think in at se-nse you have one member who has good contacts,thats about it...I am doing what i can but it takes a lot of time and effort to get the right info and sometimes i don't have that.

The feed is great but u should copy/paste the news into the body of the thread as many of us surf Esato from wap or even the internet but without seeing the link to the news u posted.I cant believe no1 mentioned this b4.Thanx!

@701, please just remember that there are copyright issues involved in cutting and pasting some items from other sites so not everything is going to be visible to wappers, unfortunately

When reading the news articles on the homepage, would it be possible to add a link to the discussion thread in the forum? It would make it easier, instead of having to go digging for a relevant thread if people want to make a comment on it.

I'm not looking for a fight. You yourself said you welcome feedback.
I have an issue with the quality (not quantity) of your news items. Stories like concept phones are bang on the money. But posting a news story that Orange and SE are sponsoring an event that searches for "young, cool and credible bands that write and perform their own original music" have no place here.
It has nothing to do with Mobile phone news. Its just an event that is being sponsored by a service provider and mobile phone manufacturer... thats all. Big companies sponsor events.. its not really news.
Take the comment posted in this news story http://www.esato.com/news/article.php/id=1728 by WTF on 5 Jul 12:57.
Stories like Two Mobiles are Better than One, Mobile Phone Concept Called "Cellphone", New Sony Ericsson Touch Screen Concept and Nokia "AEON" Live Pics are the type of stories that should be posted.
Quality, not quantity my good man.
I will be surprised if you get any more constructive criticism from fellow members. As some people are scared to speak their minds. But like you said, this is a forum. |

Thanks, i do very much appreciate your feedback.
In regards to the article your commenting on, I usually post any News relevant to Sony Ericsson, regardless of it having anything to do with phone news.
As we may be aware Esato is very much a dedicated Sony Ericsson site and we largely have a  following here who find any news to do with interesting.
I try and cater my news for every one and users of all brands but news is always of primary importance.
I have taken your comments on board, and if other members agree with you then i will future not publish such items.
